Ndax Ice Contest Terms & Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A SKILL-TESTING QUESTION IS REQUIRED TO CLAIM ANY PRIZE. OPEN TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS WHO HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR PROVINCE OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

These Official Terms and Conditions (the “Official Rules”) govern the Ndax Ice 2025–26 promotion (the “Contest”). By participating, each entrant (“Participant”, “you”) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of Ndax Inc. (“Sponsor”, “Ndax”), which are final and binding. The Contest is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal laws.

1. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored and administered by Ndax Inc., a Canadian crypto-asset trading platform.

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the NHL Entities (as defined below) or any social media platform.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to individuals who:

Are legal residents of Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence;

Hold an active Ndax account(account registration is free);

Have completed Ndax’s identity-verification process to claim a prize; and

Are not employees, officers, directors, agents, or representatives of Ndax, the National Hockey League (“NHL”), its member clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC (collectively, the “NHL Entities”), or members of their immediate families or households.

Unverified users may participate for entertainment purposes only. Only verified Ndax users are eligible to receive prizes. 
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

3. Contest Period

The Contest runs in connection with the 2025–26 NHL® season and begins at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on March 2, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. MST on the final day of the 2026 Stanley Cup Final (the “Contest Period”).

Weekly competitions reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Each new week provides Participants with a fresh opportunity to earn points and compete for weekly prizes.

The Sponsor reserves the right to adjust the Contest Period or weekly timing to account for NHL scheduling changes or technical considerations. The Sponsor and the NHL Entities are not responsible if any NHL® game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason.  

4. How to Participate

4.1 Registration and Game Tag

Participants must download the free Ndax mobile application and register an Ndax account. Upon first login, Participants must create a unique Game Tag, which serves as a public identifier on leaderboards and team invitations.

Game Tags must:

  • Be between three (3) and twenty (20) characters
  • Contain only letters, numbers, or underscores
  • Be unique and cannot be changed once approved
4.2 Teams

Participation in the Contest requires joining or creating a team. Participants may compete solo by creating a team with only one (1) member.

Create a Team 
Creating a team generates a unique Team ID and designates the creator as the team captain. Teams may include up to five (5) members, including the captain. Captains may invite players via link or QR code and approve or decline join requests through in-app notifications.

Join a Team 
Participants may request to join an existing team using a Team ID. Requests are subject to captain approval and team size limits.

Team Rules

  • A team may have a maximum of five (5) members
  • Captains may remove members at any time
  • Points are attributed to the team, not individual players
  • If a Participant leaves or is removed from a team, any points they contributed remain with the team for that week
  • Prizes are awarded only to members on the team at the time prizes are issued
4.3 Predictions

During each eligible NHL game, Participants may submit one (1) prediction per game, based on available in-app prediction options.

  • Predictions may be modified until the game’s official start time or any earlier cutoff specified in-app
  • Once a game begins, predictions lock and cannot be changed
  • Duplicate or conflicting predictions for the same game are not permitted
4.4 Points System

Points

  • Submitting a prediction = +1
  • Correct prediction = +2

Points are credited after official game results are finalized. Points contribute to weekly team totals and cumulative statistics displayed in-app.

5. Prizes & Rewards

5.1 Weekly Team Prize

At the end of each weekly competition, the team ranked first on the Top Teams Leaderboard will be declared the weekly winner.

  • Each verified team member will receive CAD $100  
  • Maximum weekly prize per team: CAD $500
  • Teams may win multiple weekly prizes during the Contest Period
  • The leaderboard resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC 

Tiebreakers (in order):

  • Greater number of correct predictions
  • Earlier team creation time (teams with a longer history rank higher)
  • Random draw conducted by the Sponsor
5.2 Overtime Draw

Each time a team earns points during the Contest Period, the team automatically accumulates entries into the Overtime Draw. No additional action is required.

Within fourteen (14) days following the conclusion of the regular season, the Sponsor will conduct a random draw from among all eligible teams that have accumulated entries. The following prizes will be awarded: 

  • First Prize Team: CAD $1,500 total prize pool 
    (up to CAD $300 per verified team member)
  • Second Prize Team: CAD $1,000 total prize pool 
    (up to CAD $200 per verified team member)
  • Third Prize Team: CAD $500 total prize pool 
    (up to CAD $100 per verified team member)

Prizes are divided evenly among verified team members at the time of distribution. 
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible teams and accumulated entries at the time of the draw.

Teams remain eligible for weekly prizes regardless of selection in the Overtime Draw.

6. Winner Notification and Verification

Winners will be notified via in-app notification and the email address associated with their Ndax account within three (3) business days of selection.

To claim any prize, each eligible team member must:

  • Have a verified Ndax account in good standing
  • Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question
  • Complete any required documentation within seven (7) days of notification
  • Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of that individual’s portion of the prize.

7. General Conditions

No purchase, deposit, or trading activity is required to participate or win. Use of multiple accounts, automation, or any attempt to manipulate the Contest is prohibited.

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or team who violates these Official Rules or engages in disruptive or fraudulent behavior.

The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest if events beyond its control compromise the integrity or proper administration of the Contest.

8. Release and Publicity

By participating, Participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor and the NHL Entities from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

By accepting a prize, winners grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, Game Tag, likeness, and city/province/territory of residence for promotional purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used solely for Contest administration and in accordance with Ndax’s Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

11. NHL Disclaimer

NHL trademarks, logos, and game data are used under licence. The NHL Entities have not sponsored or endorsed this Contest and are not responsible for its administration.

 

12. Miscellaneous

Headings are for convenience only. If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
